Directions:

• • This course is designed to teach you to type -- really type, using all the correct fingering, with accuracy and speed. Typing is sometimes also called "keyboarding" or "touch typing."
• • Learning to type professionally is a requirement for Level 2 Graduation.
• • To earn credit for this courses, you must complete all the required lessons and drills, demonstrate your ability to type at a professional level, and pass the final typing test with the required speed and accuracy standards.
• • You will be learning to type through an online program called the Typing Club. 
• • To access this program, you must enter through the Crossover Academy Pro portal. Use this link: https://crossover-academy.typingclub.com
• • Mrs. Hanley will help you set up a user name and password. These should be recorded for future reference on the first page of your Crossover Academy Pro Portfolio. If you regularly work at the same computer, you may save the password to that station for convenient access.
• • Learning to type takes commitment and regular practice.
• • If you undertake this course, you must commit to being at the Crossover Center at least three days a week for at least 20 minutes of practice each of those days. More practice days will produce better results, but three days is the minimum time requirement.
