For Step 1, watch the three videos on the left with your tutor. When you have watched the three videos, submit the Step 1 Completion Form. After submitting the form, you will be redirected back to this page. Move on to Step 2.
Note: If you do not have time to view all three videos (about 12 minutes total), only check the video(s) on the completion form that you did watch. When you view the other video(s), submit the form again and check the other video(s) you watched.

Access the PDF handout titled You Can Grow Your Intelligence. This needs to be read with a tutor. It can be read online or printed. It will open in a separate browser window. If you read it online, leave the page open so you can refer back to it during your quiz. If you print it, you can use it as a reference during the quiz.
After reading You Can Grow Your Intelligence, come back to this page and take the online quiz. Click the quiz link for Step 2 below. ONCE YOU START THE QUIZ, DO NOT STOP UNTIL COMPLETED. If you quit too soon, your work may be lost and you will need to start again.

Access the PDF handout titled Effective Effort Rubric. This rubric assesses the learning process and the effective effort a learner applies. This must be read together with a tutor. It can be read online or printed. Study this handout carefully. It will help you identify the differences between a fixed, mixed, and growth mindset.
The PDF will open in a separate browser window. If you read it online, leave the page open so you can refer back to it during your quiz. If you print it, you can use it as a reference during the quiz.
After reading the Effective Effort Rubric, come back to this page and take the online quiz. Click the quiz link for Step 3 below. ONCE YOU START THE QUIZ, DO NOT STOP UNTIL COMPLETED. If you quit too soon, your work may be lost and you will need to start again.
